   Ralph Weigel opened his insurance business (Ralph Weigel Agency) in the fall of 1945. Maure Weigel joined his fathers business in 1972, then took over the agency in 1998, revising the name to Weigel Insurance Agency. In January of 2017, Maure retired and sold the agency to his office manager of five years, Chris Lauck.  Now Lauck Insurance Agency, 2017 begins our 72nd year of operation. We may have changed names, but one thing remains the same, our commitment to excellent service and our duty to our insureds. 

   

Lauck Insurance is an Independent Agency with access to over 50 companies, therefore giving us many options to choose from for our clients.

  

As a mid-sized insurance agency we pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service to all of our customers.

 

 

Chris joined the agency in 2011. He is also currently serving as the Executive Director of the Salina Area Youth Sportsmanship Initiative, and serves as the chair for the Civic Engagement Committee with the Salina Area Young Professionals. Chris met his wife Alysun (who was born and raised in Salina) while attending the University of Northern Colorado. They married in 2008  and have two boys, Landon, who is 4 year old and Hunter who is 2. Chris enjoys outdoor activities such as golf, baseball, adult softball, fishing, and hunting. He cant wait to share his love of the outdoors with his boys who already wants nothing more, than to be outside!

 

Maure began his insurance career in 1972, working with his father Ralph. That same year he married his wife Theresa. Maure and Theresa have three adult children. They and their spouses now all live and work in the Lawrence / Kansas City area. In his free time Maure enjoys running, loves the country life, working on his property, cutting fire wood, spending time with his two grandchildren, and hiking in Colorado where his family has vacationed for over 35 years.
